Main ,Chai aur Atmaram

"Better late than never".....and here comes my first post on our very own cse2010 blog ...
If u ask me the reasons for this late arrival...then the last excuse would be that i was busy doing something.Because it was not just something, but something something.Last month we had our semester xms and probably (according to our very unreliable placement deptt), later this month we will have our placements starting .

ya i am busy in something-2 ranging from basket ball ground cricket (our version of gully cricket) to hollywood classic "Casablanca" and Micheal wood's documentary "The story of India".From few aptitude questions...... to reading room Nayan Sukh (hope u got it...if not.. forget it). From failed attempts to visit gym in the morning to unfailed attempts to wake till 4 am to have apna pyara tea cup. From heartbreaking One dayer's loss at the hands of the Aussies to Test rank no.1. Its been all happenning.....and yes not to forget some volunteering at Ansh's place.

ya now i came to the point ,well one thing i have been engaging myself on a regular basis was sitting on the Atmaram porch with a cup of tea in hand and more often than not Ranjeet on my side .and in less often cases Ansh and Tyagi.....well i wake up at 11 and by the time i return from Atmaram chowk after chai ,somebody else wakes up and with him comes another trip to Atmaram chowk. The amount of time i spend in tea and on Atmaram every day is more than i spend solving aptitude questions and with a dictionary taken together.(to tell u more ...the tea breaks between my preparation sittings are lengthier than the sittings itself).

Eagerly waiting for a mention, is the sight of girls at Atmaram and KIIT as a whole, whose numbers are growing day by day (more to our delight) and the day is not far when they will outnumber us (who says sex ratio is falling....visit KIIT)...so u see.. the chai comes with an extra package. The most drastic change has come in the number of couples lingering around ladies hostel in the evening .....looks like the "Suk..ti Raj" has finally lived its days.Well i never had personal issues with the same but the couples did(meri branch ke kuch majnoo log kehte the...kya kehte the ,ye toh nahi likh sakta ).One day I and Ranjeet were walking down the ladies hostel path towards our hostel at about 6.30pm and there was literally a fair of love birds.....desperatly cherishing the few moments before saying good bye for the day(courtesy hostel timings).

I am sure all of u have started thinking about ladies hostel and forgotten my Atmaram...never mind i can understand...nyways i dont have a girl friend and hope some budy there in the heaven is listening.......With this ye chai ki kahani ko khatam karte hain..
We have some training classes starting tommorow and they may cut down on some Atmaram visits but never mind the campus visit is not so bad either (...remember.... extra package!!!!!!!)

Tata Steel 1st round

Yesterday evening the results of the written round of Tata Steel held on 15th November was declared. 17 deserving candidates (out of 217) made it to the PI round. And it was quite pleasing to see 6 out of these 17 names to be from our branch-Abhishek Bose, Payal Bangar, Sambit Rath, Tippana Sreevani, Kaushallendra and Shubham Jaiswal. We really do seem to be a class smarter than the rest of the branches, don't we? :P Anyways, ALL THE BEST to u 6. May u rock the PI round as well.....
